I know resources are limited but installing a forum like hte Symbian Daily Mobile at http://forum.dailymobile.net/forums/symbian-3-symbian-anna-and-nokia-belle-forum/

Where everything is broken up into different sections so we can search within the Sailfish X section for example. I know it works as it is but it won't be long before it gets unweildy as more and more people come on board.

I agree, as long as a renewed Jolla forum doesn't misuse my browser for cryptomining like that mentioned forum.

This is a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/168694/update-askbot-running-tjc-to-a-more-recent-version/

And I absolutely agree with @pawel, that only the search suggestions from Askbot 0.7.49 are useful, but not the search results.

Furthermore the entries in Askbot's JavaScript-based drop-down list of search suggestions seem to be sorted from old to new.
Hence the most recent and thus likely most relevant search result is at the bottom of the list!

I don't think it's a duplicate. The link you provided is just about updating askbot version to a newer one and what SymbianRefugee is an overall structure implementation. Search does work but overall navigation is a mess and no structure, a section system would really make things much easier.

Thus is perhaps a duplicate - or a restatement - if the proposal in this thread:

https://together.jolla.com/question/102563/split-communication-announces-requests-bugs-support-devs-phone-tablet/

I wouldn't update Askbot - I'd replace it. Discourse for Q&A and a public bug tracker would be my choice, But it isn't going to happen.

Well, then I misunderstood what was meant by "update": IMHO replace would have been an more appropriate term.

But as Jolla's resources are limited, and transferring all the existing content of TJC to any other Q&A system is practically impossible, updating Askbot to a newer version is apparently the only realistic way to go.
