Xperia X camera ISO
The camera app in Sailfish X gives ISO options from 100 to 400. However, the specifications of the phone on Sony website says max ISO is 12800. Is there any chance of getting better low light performance in the future updates?

The next update (2.1.3.7 already available as Early Access) raises the level to ISO 800 (at least selectable in third party camera apps like cameraplus). The Max ISO value sony lists has to do with its proprietary software for the sensor that is only usable with the official Sony Android ROM for the device.

If your image resolution is 2MP whats the point of taking the image in the first point due to pixel grouping, so with that maybe/maybe ISO 1000 is ok.
XFish ( 2017-11-01 07:47:35 +0200 )editSony being among the best in camera sensor technology, I'd expect Xperia X sensor outperform that of Jolla Phone 1.
But it's a pity if it is really limited to 400, as @leszek says...
tmy ( 2017-11-01 13:54:40 +0200 )editI'm curious about camera, so is it possible to add even more iso value (currently max value is 1600)? Or is it impossible due the Sony's drivers? Anybody knows?
And how about Sony's new kernel 4.4 camera drivers, will it possible to increase iso value above 1600 and also increase megapixels to maxium 23 value, like Sony's official camera application have?
I just think about if Jolla decide to upgrade xperia x kernel to 4.4 version.
