Second Sailfish X not doing Exchange or Aptoide store [answered]

I bought a F5122 next to my F5121, because I really want the dual-sim functionality back that I have (had) on the Aquafish. So I got a second voucher from my Tablet refund and bought a second Sailfish X license earlier in october (the 15th to be precise).

The F5122 arrived today and I've succesfully installed Sailfish X and made the modifications to get it to use both sims (which it now does). Both Sailfish X's show up in my account.jolla.com page, although both are named F5121.

Immediately after importing the backup from the first Sailfish I noticed the Exchange account missing. The Exchange app is not available in the store (it will not show up after searching for it like it does on the F5121) and after installing the Aptiode Store app, that won't show up in my app-list.

I've tried rebooting the phone, but that had no effect.

Anyone any idea what went wrong here?

it's available on my dual sim. strange behavior. but sorry for my foolish question. but how did u activate the dual sim functionalities? my Xperia don't accept my efforts. I know what command lines to type, the problem is where and how...

/ is root, so /default.prop is a textfile present in the root of your filesystem. You might want to read up on unix / linux filesystems. Most of use following these instructions use the terminal (enable developer mode and SSH access) or ssh in to copy / paste.

I remeber reading here on TJC (sorry, can't find the discussion right now) that the issue is having two sailfish X licenses on the same account. You should contact jolla care or use another account for your second sailfish x device.

Could you alse tell us, how long did it take, until theyd solved your issue? (In my case, its starting the beginning of week 3, and still not resolved)

The ticket has now been acknowledged by customer care and is under investigation.

@Valentin replying to the original question, I believe our two problems are unrelated, I can't even install the Exchange app.

The servicedesk has solved the issue. Unfortunately I can't tell whether or not the issue could have been prevented.
