I'm about to release a fancy native(!) game for Sailfish OS - Android version is here - and telling the truth I'm hoping for getting some of donation... ;)
I'm wondering what platform is welcome/accepted by our community?
Trivial choice would be PayPal but I know some does not like it too much for one reason or an other. What about @pay?
Or any platform in your mind?

The only official way is - Flattr. Then users can donate inside Jolla Store. Links to other ways you can add manually inside your game.
@coderus - as one of the top coders for Sailfish (in my opinion) I'd be interested to know, what sum you have had in donations in total or maybe just one particular year?, are end users really generous and forthcoming with donations for your work?

coderus ( 2017-11-23 14:12:09 +0200 )edit@zlutor While not integrated with the OS & it's extra work for you, you can always include a donation button in the application itself and/or on it's webpage/code repository/discussion. Many applications do it this way as there is basically no other viable option at the moment.
