Show calendar entries in lock screen [answered]
It's good to have upcoming calendar entries in the event view, but I would love to have the option of showing them in the lock screen too, for example above the media player controls.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

Lars Maria ( 2017-12-11 10:56:45 +0300 )editYou need to tell the device to accept Untrusted software. This is done from Settings menu. look for Untrusted software in the list and activate it.
To use the patch I've suggested, you will need to install Patchmanager 2.0 also found on Openrepos. Install Patchmanager, then install the calendar patch and activate it. Homescreen will need to be restarted as the patch makes changes in Lipstick(restart preloaded services in Patchmanager is broken) . You can use another 3rd party app to restart homescreen, like Homescreen refresher by schturman (https://openrepos.net/content/schturman/homescreen-refresher) or in Terminal, type "systemctl --user restart lipstick.service).
Jolla are unlikely to be implementing calendar to lockscreen - as they don't like a cluttered lockscreen (form over function I'm afraid), so we get what they dictate - otherwise, it's Patchmanager time! - your mileage may vary and Patchmanager can cause no end of problems in the hands of a new user - you try the above purely at your own risk. I accept no responsibility for making these suggestions - your mileage may vary and do so at your own risk.
Spam Hunter ( 2017-12-11 12:09:30 +0300 )edit@Lars Maria just enable untrusted software in the System Settings.
velemas ( 2017-12-11 12:09:59 +0300 )editThank you for all your info! I can agree with 'form over function', but then they _could_ give us an option. Anyway, I'll try with enabling untrusted software and if that doesn't work out I try the Patchmanager. And on my own risk.
