Where can I find an API for the camera?

I would like to play a bit with the camera, and I tried to find some documentation on the API (preferably for C), but I couldn't find anything. Is there something I am missing? I am interested mainly in taking still photos, but also controlling things such as focus, ISO, exposure, etc.

Aside /usr/share/jolla-camera there is also /usr/lib/qt5/qml/com/jolla/camera

I'm not so sure there is a public API for the camera, I could easily be wrong though.

Look at the files in: usr/share/jolla-camera

Yes, that's also possible, but is the source available for jolla-camera or cameraplus? I don't know this.
