Hi,

It's an old idea coming from my N900 use.

The idea is to have a sub-menu via a longpress (for example) on phone numbers displayed in the browser to copy/paste it in the phone app. The need comes from navigation thru annuaries (work or yellow pages). In this case, the use of our search result is not trivial. With the N900 we had the mouse mode to select/copy and paste the number in phone app, but in Sailfish I didn't find yet an easy way to do it.

I second the idea, but we also need a proper way to select non-URL text in the browser and add it to the clipboard.

If a website implemented it properly you can call numbers from it... and copy them to clipboard (just tried), numbers not marked as phone numbers on websites do not work just like any other text but that is here => https://together.jolla.com/question/832/system-wide-clipboard-copy-paste-capability/
