Top Mic - Is it working? Why not?

Hei,
I have a SilfishX on a dual SIM XperiaX. I recently found out that the top mic is not active.
Is this related to the active-noise-cancellation-not-implemented issue?
Did I miss something or it is in the pipe somewhere? Or...?
