Root access to folders and files (with Schturman's 'StartAsRoot' patches or standalone apps for FileBrowser, Filetug, Filecase and Cargodock) is usually denied unless you wait for "some time" (not too long, not too short) before trying again.
This occurs With XperiaX, not with Jolla phone.
Any idea why? Any workaround?

No patch is needed for root access with Filecase. Just enable root access in settings. I've used Filecase with root access enabled with the Xperia 5121 Sailfish X from the start, and never had any problem with delay. You must have something else installed that is causing this problem.
@bocephus I can't see 'root access' in Filecase settings, only 'show root file system', that's something different. Can you see a non-empty /root folder with your settings?

You may try using Schturman's non-Patch variants:
- StartAsRoot for FileCase
- StartAsRoot for File-browser
- StartAsRoot for CargoDock
- StartAsRoot for Filetug

As far as I can remember, the lagging issue also occurs with standalone (non-patch) 'startasroot' apps (again, only with Xperia, not with Jolla phone)
