I will once again try to change back to My Jolla C and sailfish OS as primary phone. I think I will manage without Android except Mobilt BankID (and Swish). So now I am wondering if there is a way to get those apps working in sailfish nowadays?

Hi I got it to work on my J1. One may get a message that google play needed. I ignored this. Download of the electronic id worked. Gave error messages but probably related to disrupted com with gp.
After this it works may complain when you open the app but it works.
@polarphone, there are way to little information in this for being an answer. Please rewrite with details or convert to a comment.

It just tries to donwload it and then i get a message "Service is not responding. Try again." =( Something to do with the "support ending summer of 2018"? Any ideas? Feel so naked without BankID...

Hi, I have used BankID and nowadays Swish on my Jolla-phones since 2014. It has worked almost flawless on J1, Jolla C and now Sailfish X. BandID used to work without Doddle Play Service but now complains and refuses to start although it can be installed. So I've installed that as well. From time to time Bankid complains that the certificate has been altered. Most of the times a restart of phone or Alien Dalvik makes it work again. A few times a year I have to delete it and download a new certificate from the bank, no big deal. A few times over the years I had to reinstall the app but then it works again. It seems very sensitive to shifts in the environment (Alien Dalvik). One time I moved the start-icon into a sub-folder. After that it refused to start and had to be reinstalled. I download the apps via apkpure or Yalp without a hickup. All in all Bankid works fine most of the time and just need a little maintenance along the way. Swish works totally fine all the time. Hope this helps.

The only thing I can say for sure is that nothing works if you don't have Google Play Services installed ¯_(ツ)_/¯
