A question to Jolla devs. What are the plans for supporting Android runtime >= 5.x From what I understand Dalvik supports only the 4.4 while there are already apps that won't work on such ancient runtime.

With Sailfish 3,which will be published in the 3rd quarter 2018, Aliendalvik will be updadet to Android 5.

Do you have a source for that? I've heard that Jolla is working on a newer version of Alien Dalvik, but not anything about the Android version or API level it will support.

Jolla said a newer version. Do you have a source for Android 5? I would have expected Nougat, at least on the Xperia X.
