Support for Yubikey NEO as 2nd factor authentication
It would be nice to have ability to do two factor authentication with Yubikey NEO in Jolla.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

It isn't a Jolla native app, but I wondered if Ubico's own app works: https://www.yubico.com/2013/09/yubikey-neo-oath-applet/
I have been wondering several times whether I should buy a Yubikey, something that works on Jolla would certainly give me an additional reason to buy one. :-)
avdwoude ( 2014-01-29 01:00:38 +0200 )editi love love the Yubikey, its used seamlessly for 2 factor on Chromebooks for example, using the USB port, but i can see on a mobile phone there is no USB port so NFC would be the only safe pairing. Hope that could happen on sailfish powered devices using NFC chips.
DarkTuring ( 2016-10-31 04:18:39 +0200 )editThis request could be expanded to support USB-C Yubikeys which are theoretically usable on XA2 devices. Some mobile apps (particularly Android) open a web browser to authenticate and being able to use hardware keys for 2FA in Sailfish would be cool.
asgeirr ( 2019-09-24 15:33:12 +0200 )edit@asgeirr I have a usb-c yubikey that I have used on my gemini pda under both android as well as debian, so theoretically usable on Gemini under sailfish as well I suppose
