Visit https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xa2 for some guidance. I'm using Flashtool and to download firmware there is xperifirm. https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/pc-xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142

Before redoing the Sailfish X installation successfully to my Xperia XA2, I reinstalled Android once to my XA2 with the "Emma" software that is available (with flashing instructions) from Sony at

https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/how-to-flash/

I hope this helps.

Edit: The link to the actual download site of the flash software is https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/download-flash-tool/

Unfortunately no. But the camera is fine even after unlocking the bootloader. Only HDCP hence miracast gets broken and needs a workaround.

@J4ZZ thank you, was thinking about an XA2 jump but it looks too many problems now.
