Missing sailfish-fpd-slave package 3.0.0 on XA2 Plus

I am trying to setup the fingerprint recognition on my new xperia xa2 plus device. I have tried to install the sailfish-fpd and sailfish-devicelock-fpd packages.

I get the following error:

"nothing provides sailfish-fpd-slave needed by sailfish-fpd-1.2.0-1.5.1.jolla.armv7hl"

Is it even possible to get this working without the Android emulation layer? Do I need to wait until the final release is done for the XA2 plus?

Please correct me if I'm mistaken. As Sailfish OS already runs on top of Android kernel and drivers, it's rather the libhybris layer and Sailfish OS side of things that need to be developed. As the Android driver blobs are generally of poor quality and need all sortsa quirks to function (Xperia X flashlight, anyone? grr...) it can be a very daunting and time consuming task. And that is no Sonys fault, because they, too, have to live with whatever Qualcomm delivers.

Not supported in XA2, as commented by Jolla:"Currently fingerprint scanner in XA2 is not supported." On this thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/193449/sailfish-fpd-wont-start-xperia-x-fingerprint/?answer=193527#post-id-193527

So short story is, that we still need to wait for the fp support to be implemented.
