Would be great if one could open multiple apps at once without being thrown between apps as they open. Let's say I'm browsing the web and want to open multiple apps in the background while continuing the browsing. To do that I would tap on all the apps and return back to the browser but then I get thrown into each app as they open which is a bit annoying.

This could maybe be added as an option but I don't see why it couldn't work like this all the time.

You should remove "multiple" from the heading imo. Focus stealing is just wrong. If I start an app and, while it's starting, I then switch to another app, I don't want the starting app to get the focus when it's done loading - I'm in the middle of something...

I doesn't matter if it's one or multiple apps I'm starting. The only time an app should "pop up" is when the home or launcher screen is active.

Very good suggestion! Some times browser takes quite a long time to activate and I start to browser twitter while waiting for the browser to open. It would be nice that the browser wouldn't then jump up while I'm still middle of reading some tweet.

Exactly what I was going to ask for :)

I'm quite suprised how few people seem to be running into that problem, or maybe they just don't care. This is really annoying and the problem still exists with SFOS 2. I would be glad if it got fixed.

I want to vote +1. It is truly annoying that when I launch app it takes so long to launch, and in the meantime I switch to some other app, and then suddenly out of nowhere I got switched to new app. Why? Maybe I was busy with something in the app I switched to - Why is Sailfish switching me to that new app? Windows is doing same thing - and it always was same annoying - I always dreamed of a day when they finally realize it's bad idea - Now I just use on my desktop Linux Mint and apps seem less focus greedy. Can you make Sailfish less greedy? Can it not switch focus at all maybe? I am fully Ok with swithching manually when I need, and I don't really need apps shouting at me.
