Suggestion: Switch to disable swiping in Android apps. [duplicate]
I've found couple Android apps, which would've been great (swipe based app switcher for example), but none of them works because swiping from side minimizes my Alien Dalvik. If possible, somekind of little switch on bottom menubar to disable Sailfish OS gestures might make these apps work a lot better.
IMHO swiping collides with Android in several places. Think of the side-swipe menus in the Holo-UI for another example. Alien Dalvik should bring the home button back and disable swipe gestures for Android.

Nux ( 2013-12-26 01:27:17 +0200 )editWe could think of some more complex gestures to do this, for example swiping along all edges of the screen, tap with three (or more) fingers (we do have support for 5 simultaneous touch points after all) or option to replace edge swipes in Android with two-finger swipes. Just throwing ideas here...
fercen ( 2013-12-29 11:56:43 +0200 )editCan't a small lock toggle just be added to the Android soft keys footer (on the far-left? lock - back - home - menu)
