[question] Is sailfish browser development been abandoned?
For the past few updates nothing has actually been done about the browser. It's really out of date and has issues with many websites. Has it's development been abandoned?
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

It's not abandoned. As you can see on github they going to change gecko engine to 45. https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-browser
As you can see gecko version will change in 3.0.3 so in next SailfishOS release. https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-browser/tree/upgrade-3.0.3
To be fair, even Gecko 45 is still 21 months, nearly two years, out of date.
