Hi, I have microG services (and modyfied siganture spoofing). When I want to update SFOS, must I make a clean reflash or I can upgrade from the terminal and still have microG services working without reflashing the OS?

Upgraded to 3.0.3 here :

  • yes you can simply install the upgrade using either the GUI or the command line (ssu re etc.) and it will upgrade you phone

  • 3.0.3 comes with a new version of the Android Applications compatibility layer, so you'll need to patch the content of /opt/alien.system.img again.

ok thanks for anserw, while 3.0.3 is early access so I wait for stable release.

yup, better wait for the final official release.

just remember to re-run the signature spoofing patching for microG after you do the upgrade.

and remove the backup of system.img file created when patching foe signature spoofing before upgrading, as /opt can run out of space as some have found out.
