Hello Together,

as i saw on the Inoi website the Inoi T8 Tablet is apparently sold in Russia, so there would be an 8 inch tablet with 4G and LTE and adequate hardware, only problem its just available in Russia, on the russian speaking website of the manufacturer and also no Paypal available. So i see just two options, creating a buying group in which we would gather orders and then transmit them to Inoi. Or we have to make a petition toward Jolla, to import a batch of Inoi T8 Tablets for a certain of people approximately 1000 pieces like they did with Intex Aquafish from India. This would give the people the opportunity to get their hands on a sailfish os Tablet and for Jolla it would have the benefit to spread their System. Who else then me would be interested in buying such a tablet? Is Coderus not russian and could at least help us in communication to get contact to Inoi

The idea is great. My only doubt, and resistence: inoi tablets are sold with Aurora OS, the russian version of SFOS, full of corporate options, MDM etc. In that case, would a reflash of clean SFOS be possible?

at markets the only option is to buy inoi with vanilla sailfish os provided by jolla. you can't buy russian protected os variant in local shop :D

It may be possible, but what about software lifecycle? Who is responsible for software updates? Anyone knows how previous Inoi phone played out?

Well given Intex Aquafish vs Jolla C lifecycle (Intex should be in charge for upgrades of Aquafish but is seriously lagging behind. Jolla is in charge for upgrades of C and has kept their promises, including 3.0.3 Hossa), I would actually be very happy if we get a "vanilla Sailfish OS provided by Jolla" on whatever-jolla-choses-to-call-it (Jolla I ? Jolla T ? Jolla 8?), instead of the original russian variant by Inoi.
