Huawei to get SFOS?

Aurora is based on SFOS according to this article. Good news, bad news?
edit: btw anyone has tested/played with Aurora(and not under NDA)? Is it sfos with just some tweaks like they had for intex, or more modified/limited???

szopin ( 2019-06-12 17:28:31 +0200 )editIf this is true I am actually interested in the question why Huawei is negotiating with Russia/Rostelcom/OMP instead of directly with Jolla? Has Rostelcom/OMP the right to license the Sailfish OS fork by themselves? This would be the wrong party that earns tge money and gets the reputation...
Alex ( 2019-06-13 19:21:35 +0200 )editI agree with Alex, if this were true it creates a conflict with Jolla's aim to sell to other countries.
