[Solved]3.1.0.11 EA Jolla 1: Update Loop? & Contacts not working
I've tried now several times to update but seem to be catched in a Loop. First try was succesful (360MB?) but Contact-App has shown just a white Window. After severeal reboots no change. Also a additional 3MB Update afterwards dit not help. At the Moment I install my 3. Attempt to 3.1.0.11 (ready for install). Ok "install" again now: Sorry, no difference! Produkt-Info still 3.0.3.10 (Hossa).
1.) Contacts not working 2.) Alarm works 3.) Settings works 4.) Calendar not starting 5.) Browser works 6.) Gallery works 7.) Documents works 8.) Camera works 9.) Media Player works 10.) Modrana not starting 11.) QuasarMX not starting 12.) Notification not working
Update: Incoming Calls working, Outgoing Calls not possible due to missing GUI.
[Solved]: Following https://together.jolla.com/question/133600/how-to-update-sailfish-os-from-command-line/ solved my Problem!
Update: Modrana + Calendar + QuasarMX deinstalled. Rebooted and Calendar reinstalled, Calendar tries to open, but fails. Modrana (same).
Last Update: I have resettet my Phone and was going through the Update-Hell (5 Hours) :-) The bad thing is, I have lost now my complete Communication History :-(
Ciao Walter

fw_sf_os ( 2019-07-19 07:36:55 +0200 )editMaybe some problem with BTRFS disk space? I remember there are some threads about it or at least discussions in threads about other issues. Just a wild guess though.
Pohli ( 2019-07-19 14:46:33 +0200 )editI managed to have messed UI about five updates ago. GUI update was failing at begining. After couple fails did update in terminal. Booted phone and had half working UI and old version. Ran update again with ssh and bumped to not enough space errors in package installs. Although settings showed ~4 GB free disk space. Found here article(https://together.jolla.com/question/30822/root-and-home-disks-full-and-causing-various-problems/) about btrfs. Show command said there are only ~1GB free. After several balance operations got enough space to update. Since then I had to run balancing before every update.
