change aliendalvik download path directly in app

Is it possible to change the /home/nemo/android_storage/Download path directly from a config file or app ?

creating symliks destroys the umask/permission for new files in the android/Download directory, so files are no more accessible from the nemo user. Creating a cronjob isn`t optimal in case of power consumption.
