I'm traveling and added an event when I was in EEST (UTC+3), but failed to take into account that the event were to happen in CEST (UTC+2), so now, when I'm back in CEST, the event shows one hour too early (16:00) in the calendar. However, when I try to edit the event it show the correct time (17:00), which I guess is that the event has a time zone setting somewhere, but I can't find it.

Instead of setting it to the correct time according to EEST, which would be 18:00, I'd rather change the time zone, so further edits would be more logical.

I did a search before posting, but being on the road and stuck to a phone screen, I didn't bother to go more than three pages. I did find a post that described my problem, but it seemed to be solved by reboot (my problem didn't). Now I went a few pages more, and found this thread (from 2015) that suggest something similar to what I want. I thought this would be standard by now.

Closing as duplicate.
