Telegram Notifications
Hi everybody,
Can someone please tell me the official position on whether notifications work on Telegram, because they only work occasionally on my XA2? I use Telegram more than any other app and the current intermittency of notifications is driving me up the wall. I have set Android support to start on boot and Telegram is set to allow background services to start on boot. A reboot makes no difference to the situation.
Thanks
dajand
I've found the answer: Notifications framework improved. This should make Telegram notifications, for instance, wake up the device, and to make a sound, and to turn LED on.
It doesn't work, at least on my XA2.

Sometimes you have to manually open the app in order to see messges. So are you sure it's not Telegram itself?
Sakke ( 2019-08-07 12:58:42 +0200 )editIt works for me at least 90% of the time, works better now than on my old Xperia X. Sometime it get stuck, resetting the android support and it works again.

To Sakke, interesting, I've never had an issue with Telegram on a pc, a Samsung tablet and an Xperia Z3 Compact which is why I think it might be a Sailfish issue, but I take your point. I get the messages if I manually open the app but that seems a backward step.
To LinuxByChoice, thanks I've refreshed the Android Support and I'll see if it works.
