Sailfish X - Android apps not reading new SD card

Greetings,
I bought a Xperia X for Sailfish X and been using it for nearly two years now. Earlier today I decided to upgrade the SD card from a SanDisk Ultra 128GB (FAT32) to a SanDisk Ultra 200GB (ext4). It seemingly worked fine, it was nice to be able to easily format the card in the phone with the GUI, but then I noticed that no Android apps are now able to read from the card, /home/media/sdcard/ is empty instead of showing a folder for the SD card. This is unfortunate as I use foobar2000 as a music player. If I put the 128GB card back into the phone the Android apps will read from it again just fine.
Any good solution for this? Should I reformat the 200GB card to FAT32?
