midi controller [xa2]

hi, i noticed that audio output is working with my kaoss-dj-controller and edjing mix (aptoide) out of the box on my xa2 ;-) i will try to enable midi, at ubuntu you have to edit the usb-rules for that... someone having experience and wants to share? may be an app for enabling write access to midi-devices is possible with minimum effort...
Very interested in this. My old Jolla 1 is just sitting on my desk. Would love to turn it into a MIDI sequencer to use with Axoloti. I made a simple drum sequencer app with onboard samples for Sailfish once, but I wouldn't know how to send MIDI from the phone, if that is possible at all. It doesn't seem like Sailfish can do that, as I don't find any documentation on the use of MIDI.
