Problems booting with 3.2.0.12

Basically - if I perform a normal soft reboot of the phone, when it comes back, it will have one or both of these problems:

  • No Android support
  • No cell network connection

... 2-3 reboots will usually bring back the cellular connection, but if Android support doesn't work (Android apps will not launch, and if I go to Settings for Android support, both the Start and Stop buttons are inactive, like it's trying to start) the most reliable way I've found to get it back is to un-check the "start Android support at boot" option, then reboot, then after a minute or two I can usually manually start it. Of course by doing this reboot I may also lose the cellular network again, requiring more reboots.

I say "with 3.2.0" but this happened intermittently with the previous release, but it happens almost always with the latest release. Has anyone else experienced this? I searched a bit and didn't see anyone else mention it, which usually means it's something I have done wrong :)

Whoops, I should have mentioned that, it's an XA2 Plus.

I think it might be different ... I experienced the disappearing comm connection in previous builds, but that was always a thing that just happened while the phone was in my pocket. In this case - I reboot the phone for other reasons (apps start crashing, e-mails stop syncing, phone app starts hanging when calls come in, etc) and when it reboots it has no cell connection ever, and rebooting again doesn't necessarily bring it back. Not to say that the issues aren't related, but the behavior does seem different.
