Cannot login at Aurora Store (v3.1.5) anymore [answered]

Recently I had to reinstall Alien.dalvik and all apps on my XA2 as Android refused to start. Since I reinstalled Aurora Store (v.3.1.5) I cannot login with my google account anymore. Choosing on Settings-Account-Google gives a white screen without any content. On another LineageOS device that dialogue presents Google's website for user login. So it could be that Aurora may rely on some Android chrome component that's missing.

I can use the anonymous login, however that doesn't help for paid apps.

Do you know a fix or workaround?

Yes Rahul the dev knows that i send him logs he would try to fix it has something to do with the webview Aurora Store uses. No fix till now i have ask Rahul today if he has already found something.

thanks for your hint, didn't dafe to bother him or to open an issue at Gitlab for a Sailfish specific hiccup. Is there already an issue for that at Gitlab?

I use till it is fixed v3.1.3 works fine....

Great hint, downgraded to v3.1.3 which works for me as well.

One side not: If you provide an way that works for you, wouldn't it be up to the reporter to decide whether this answer is accepted? No offense intended, I would've closed this question if you hadn't already done it, but if it works for you you cannot assume it works for the reporter, can you?
