camera resolution on xa2

is it already a well known fact, that default sailfish camera on xa2 gives a choice of 16mpx (16:9) or 13mpx (4:3), while piggz’ advanced camera: 5984x3392 (187x106) max, which is 19 mpx? at the same time lineage os default camera gives: 22.9mpx (4:3) and 20.2 mpx (when using 16:9 resolution), strange.

which are the normal resolutions for the camera? if this is a known issue, means people work on it? why does this happen, i don't really understand. isn't the camera taking from os or drivers the list of resolutions it supports?

Its just a matter of jolla adding features to the camera.

well, I don't know. it's interesting why camera under lineage os detect different resolution than advanced camera? would android camera on sailfish detect the settings like on lineage or like advanced camera? aren't the drivers the same - sony's android kernel drivers?
