Once an alarm has been triggered it won't go away until the phone is either turned over or the alarm is swiped away.
Suppose you're in a situation where you won't or can't take the phone out of the pocket. Take a meeting or a phone-free date (do these still exist, btw.?).
It its current implementation the snooze will recur every 5 or 10 minutes (according the settings). There is no way to turn it off in the pocket.

Pushing the power button twice or another button sequence would be a good solution here.

PS: I suppose I'm not the only one using alarm clocks for more than waking up in the morning.

Yes, really good idea. I would really appreciate this.

Maybe I am posting an off-topic comment, but how a snoozed alarm could be ste to off? For example, the alarm is allowed to be snoozed 10 minutes. Snooze it once and after two minutes you are waking up. After 8 minutes the alarm will be ON? If I want to put the snoozed alarm off, how do I do it?

BTW: This enhancement would be great: to set off an allarm by pressing twice the power button (or some other action...)
