Camera: add visual indicator for zoom level

as the subject says. please add a visual indicator for current zoom level. right now i find it difficult to know i am back at 100% zoom.

I wonder would it be possible to use zoom via using volume button. Zoom in with volume up and zoom out with volume down.

Yes, I forgot totally that volume up is also used for shutter too. But it might perhaps still work if an alternative option is made in settings to switch off volume up shutter launcher and replace function with zoom in. Although using shutter from volume up is nice too...

@TimTTK what do you need more often? Especially on a device without optical zoom! On-screen reset button to zoom out again instead of landing on the picture page from zooming out, could help...
