Hi guys, I wonder if anyone knows if there is a native sailfish app that can work as a daisy reader, that is, a way for vision impaired persons to listen to audio-books (can change the readers speed etc)? Or if anyone can suggest an android daisy-reader that works well through Alien Dalvik? Thanks in advance!

I use Talefish. It's an audio book reader with playback speed setting and sleep timer integration.

As far as I know Daisy books are just .zip files that contain mp3 files and additional metadata files. If you only need the audio, just extract the .zip to a new directory and open it with Talefish. If you need the Daisy special features such as synced text & audio or navigating with levels instead of per file then Talefish is not for you.

There are many versions of the Daisy format so this information might not apply to all of them.

Adding Daisy support to Talefish should be trivial, so answer to this thread if there's a special feature you need.
