Tweak camera aspect ratio?

I am still looking for a working video chat application on my Xperia X. Even an Android app would be ok. The only app which almost works is Signal. Rear camera works well, but the aspect ratio of the front camera is wrong by factor two.

Is there any way to tweak the aspect ratio of the front camera? To work around the wrong aspect ratio in alien dalvik (0.5 * 2 = 1)?

Yes, I will just add that the same behaviour affects xperia x compact too (although it's not officialy supported) and one more issue is the color channel shifted laterally with respect to the grey channel. There's another open thread about this, out there.

searching the filesystem I found in: /etc/dconf/db/vendor.d the file: jolla-camera-hw.txt I really don't have a clue what it does and if it's the right file...

If that file is related to alien dalvik configuration, maybe it could be the right one. Though I'm afraid it's not.
