Idea/request: virtual keyboard to be context sensitive [answered]
For example, when writing an email address, don't make me press a function key to access the @. Same case with URL's :-)

This is a placeholder to say that I'm closing this question as it is way too generic, and some (if not a lot of) context sensitivity has been added in 1.0.3.8. Moving forward, let's ask more concrete questions, such as "I'd like an @ to appear in the virtual keyboard when a specific type of form field in a website is to be filled in".

In the browser it should be trivial to program logic that checks the input type of a field (e.g. text, email, number, range) and based on that show extra buttons (e.g. @) or numeric keypad etc.
