Facial recognition for the lock screen?

I haven't seen any setting to enable the camera to unlock my screen in Sailfish yet. Is that to be implememented in the upcoming release of Sailfish?

Facial recognition with a plain smartphone camera would be a major security flaw because it would be easy to use an image of the owner to unlock his/her phone.

If done right, facial recognition depends on special hardware such as 3D scanner and image processing which is not available in any smartphone supported by Sailfish at the moment. So it's very unlikely we will get such feature anytime soon.

Seems crazy that this comes as standard in AOSP then.

That's why I can unlock my friend's phone by showing it his FB profile.
