Connect to Bluetooth router?

Recently I've been using a portable WiFi/Bluetooth router with my XA2. As a way to reduce battery consumption, I tried connecting via Bluetooth. Unfortunately Sailfish OS (Nuuksio) doesn't have this capability yet? Pairing is possible but the connection soon cuts off. It might be something worth implementing in the future.
