What OpenRepos patches and applications to install? (Also from Jolla's store)
Hello, I have a clean system and I would like to start installing and using patches and applications that you recommend.
What are the essential patches and applications for you?
Surely you should install what is best for you, this is a highly subjective question, as we do not know what you apps or patches you would want to use.

Regarding patches: I recently got rid of them. Some of them were nice to play with, but most were not really necessary for me. Especially since Jolla's recent remorse timer implementation, which made the remose items timeout control patch obsolete for me.
ziellos ( 2020-04-15 08:50:51 +0200 )editEssential?,once again, this is highly subjective. What is essential to me is unlikely to be essential to you. For example, a train timetable for the UK rail networks, not much good to you here in Spain and only useful to me when I go home back to the UK and need to get around without hiring a car.
As for patches, I make all my own patches for specific personal purposes, some of which used to be on Openrepos, but I removed everything for various reasons I won't go into here.
Your best course is discovery, browse through Openrepos using Categories for ALL apps/patches and also Jolla Store, which personally, I find is largely full of rubbish apps far too many are Android apps are of poor substance.
Also, as previously mentioned, please delete your other 'non-answer question' from this thread and post it separately, of course, you don't have to , I'm just requesting that you do, as that is how we do things here on TJC, your question will get better visibility.

Other musthaves for me: Aliendalvik Control, Foil Auth, Todos and Filecat.
