Is there a way to always show timestamps in messages app?

Hello friends,
Is there a way/patch/method to always show message timestamps in the messages app - without tapping on a message? This is sort of an "ugly" workaround for an issue on the XA2 Ultra where there's a "strikethrough" drawn in single-line SMS in the messages app. If you tap on it to display the timestamp, the distracting "strikethrough" disappears. It's my estimation that permanently showing the timestamps could at least alleviate this issue until it's fixed in a later release.
