Hi All,

as we are all working from home now and excessively using phone conferences I tried to dial in with the dial in strings like on other phones, where I could just klick in the dial-in string e.g. in an appointment or e-mail:

tel:+4969123456,,123456#

This is according to the format:

tel:'Dial-in number of conference provider'+'The comma is for waiting some seconds'+'Conference ID'+'ended with #'

So far I could not find out how wo use these strings with SailfishOS. Is this not yet supported? What am I doing wrong? Is it possible this feature needs to be added?

DTMF transmission with pauses is supported in Sailfish OS.

  • Open Phone app
  • Tap Dialler Tab at the top
  • Note that the asterisc key (bottom left) has the word "Pause" as a hint

So, type the phone number, type a pause (indicated with comma in the display) by long-tapping the asterisc (*) key, type the DTMF code and type the has (#) key.

You can save this number to the phonebook (People app) and use it later in the same way as any other contact.

Thank you a lot for the workaround. Is there any possibility to directly dial (select) that string in an appointment? What I want is dialing in directly from an invitation that I received e.g. from skype.
