Change volume not using buttons?

Sometimes my Xperia 10 does not react to the hardware volume buttons any more. I haven't found any way to change the audio volume in that case. Did I miss one? In Android there are sliders for ringtone, alarm and "normal" audio, but in SFOS I only found a ringtone slider...
