Why there is only one action in the context menu in Gallery app?

And this action is... Delete! Is it really most required action for images? Not Share or Edit? I suggest to make set of action on context menu the same as it is in fullscreen image mode.

Probably because the edit and share functions only handle a single input object.

Maybe you should rephrase your question to make it a feature request/idea?

I also do not like this Office2007 style where you need to know which submenu (ribbon) to look at or have the item opened to see the available options.
So I do support this request!

@nephros The menu looks the same for single image (long press on image preview).

would be quite nice to open a image with Imageworks by context menu, for example.

It's problematic, to send more than one photo via MMS. In Email app it's possible, to send few attachments.
