Hi, I have looked at the various questions and answers already posted but do not see anything more recent that 2019. Can anyone advise if it is possible yet to install the Spotify app on my Sony Xperia 10 Plus running Sailfish 3.3 It looked like it might install but required Google Play, I would like to avoid this if at all possible. Thank you for any help. 2 months now running Sailfish and very happy. John

I have installed hutspot (native spotify client with librespot) on my Sony Xperia 10. works perfectly!
Not sure exactly had given up trying to install and went on to install Firefox (successfully). At some point afterwards went back to try Spotify again. I had accessed my Spotify account and if memory serves correctly installed from the Download link there. I think for the ReCaptcha just ticked the box.

I have installed it via APKPure. Works ok on my Sony Xperia XA2!

Do not know for sure how I did it but I think I managed to install from my Spotify account. At first though there was no sound which was puzzling, despite restarting the phone and checking settings. Next day was working ok very puzzled. The only issue now is that it will only play random songs in full of those from my playlist. Selecting any others only gets you a 30 sec preview, this I reckon is because I do not pay a subscription. Works fine on my Linux desktop (do not mind the adverts) Many thanks to everyone for looking and advice/suggestions.
