BUG: After 1.0.3.8 update Android apps close sometimes when swiped to background [released]
After 1.0.3.8 update I have experienced following behaviour: when I swipe Android app to the side to work on the background it actually does not stay on the background cover and it closes. This does not happen all the time, but is happening in 50% of the tries.
Are you sure that your not running low in memory (so out of memory killer doesn't kill them in order to free memory for other apps)?

Silwer ( 2014-02-03 10:54:21 +0200 )editCurrent version of alien dalvik has out of memory handler that checks the amount of memory when app is swiped to minimized state. I suspect that kills the app. We are working on improving the memory killer in future updates.
rainisto ( 2014-02-03 11:43:23 +0200 )editI have a similar problem. Android apps do not minimise, they close. With all Android apps closed and phone newly rebooted I can open an android app, use it, then swipe to move to a native app. In the app view the android app appears for second minimised before disappearing.
Stuarty ( 2014-02-05 12:38:28 +0200 )editSame problem here on 1.0.4.20. 5 native apps open, swiping out of an Android app closes it. Now, if I close some of the native apps, minimization of the Android VM is working again. So, it seems like memory pressure and the memory handler is to blame.
