The topmost app icons on app drawer pages could be easier to reach. This could be solved by leaving the app grid there where you lift your finger after dragging the grid up or down. I.e. Continuous view instead of paginated view. Imho, only lock screen and home need paginated view , not app drawer. Preference / setting for this would be helpful .

Edited 15.3.2015: This posts relevance is going to be increased due to bigger tablet size screens. Made some clarifications.

agreed, the app grid shouldn't snap

isn't that a duplication of https://together.jolla.com/question/1007/top-four-apps-should-be-available-in-the-launcher-as-well/ or at least a variation of it?

@Kontio, to my mind, this is different idea. This could be merged with the idea you linked to. The motivation is, to reach topmost icons more easily with one hand.

My vote for this one. I have so small hands that this is the main problem when trying to operate single handed.

Yes, this needs to happen. It violates (for no proper reason) the design principle of not being forced to having to reach out to icons on far edges of the screen.
