Pulley menu could move quicker in landscape mode

Pulley menus on screen move at the same speed that the user drags their finger. This is fine in portrait mode, there is a lot of space, and no more than five(?) items in a menu. However, when using a pulley-menu in landscape mode, the user needs to be more careful on where to place their finger on the screen initially. If dragging is started somewhere in the middle of the screen, there is not enough room to drag down to the fifth and maybe fourth menu item.

I propose landscape-mode pulley menus should have a kind of acceleration factor, which would make the menu move faster than the finger. That way the menus would be easier to access with less thought on finger placement.

Applications supporting landscape mode and having pulley menus are not too common at the moment, but the Gallery and the Webcat browser are two examples of such.
