How to troubleshoot failing Android apps?

Hey,
Is there some log file or something that I could use to determine why some of my Android apps are not starting up after I updated them couple of days ago?

The same question here. I use the Just10 app and the app crashes so the developer ask me for a log file. Typically adb logcat. But such a file I didn't found.
