email notification icons

i do not understand why i'm getting those notifications twice. Can someone explain how to sort it out? It's very confusing

Gmail icon is from an Android app, the email account is from Sailfish OS email system, if you don't want to receive the notifications twice disable one of the accounts.

Could it be that the GMail notification is from an Android app? At least I don't think I've seen that icon myself when I received an email on my GMail account.
