ergonomic issue: Events screen and phone call answering gestures
When you just unlocked device, swiping from bottom edge shows notifications screen. And it feels comfortable enough. But on incoming call swiping from down to up offers HANG UP pulley menu, that conflicts with expected behavior ANSWER A CALL (especially for N9 ex-users, where swiping up meant show "answer" and "hang up" buttons).
I believe it would be the right solution that swipe up should mean ANSWER A CALL, or at least it must be configurable behavior.
Agree. I am also struggling with answering the phone each time when it is not connected to my car's hands-free :-) It really feels "artificial" to me to answer the call by swiping down.

Would be nice to have the list start from bottom so same finger could be used to wakeup-tap, open events, select latest events. This would enable holding jolla in one hand and using thumb for most common gestures.
At the moment I'm not using the events view at all since it's faster to jump to running apps and use the short cuts there to check emails, or select emails. All with phone in one hand and using thumb.

strongm ( 2014-02-25 10:18:04 +0200 )editI have closed the phone app few times when trying to ansver incoming call. Instead of swipe down middle of the screen I have swiped from upside of screen and killed the phone app.

I would add this would be more like taking and ending a phone call with a home (or office) phone : lift up the phone to answer and put it down to end. I've a Jolla for about 2 weeks now, and I was surprised to reject phone calls by mistakes because my thumb moved naturally from bottom to top.
So, +1000
