Now, if you open new tab from cover gesture it opens to this, where you can write new address: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15696793/20140211105417.jpg

If you open new tab inside the browser from the pulley menu, it opens to this, which includes bookmarks: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15696793/20140211105443.jpg

The second one includes bookmarks whereas the first doesn't. So if you want to open a bookmark from cover it will open to the first picture, you have to go back, go to tabs from bottom of the screen and there from the pulley menu select new tab. Actually, if you want to open new tab that is a bookmark, you shouldn't use the new tab -cover gesture, because it's slower.

In my opinion, the new tab -cover gesture should go to the window in the second picture. If you there want to write the address, you can still press the text field.

You don't need to go back. Instead you can just close the virtual keyboard by pushing it down and then your favorites will be visible, just like in the second picture.

@evk Yes you can, by dragging any letter to the bottom (yes, it's impossible to guess).
