Answering to the phone call should be quite easy.. Using pulley-menu when you are moving, like running, requires concentration to get the pulley menu action in correct place.

It would be better to just slide up to answer and slide down to make the incoming call to silent. Rest of advanced features could be behind pulley menu.

iinm for answering the call, it doesn't need to be exact, and the pulley menu's vibration is good for this in any case...

Yeah https://together.jolla.com/question/3044/change-end-call-command-to-pull-gesture/ says the exact opposite. This is design decision territory.

I find it a lot easyier when there are buttons you can push to answer a call. Seeing at once what you can do with an incomming call (to answer a call - to refuse it - or silent) and to push the right button is more accurate than to choose from the slide menu when you are in a hurry.

I unlike the pully menu to answerer or decline a call,
better slide left or right to decline the call,
slide up to answerer,
slide down to silent the call ring tone

Living in frigid Finland, I've found it a bit annoying to be outside in winter with thick gloves to answer calls using only touch screen. I wonder if the volume button can be used for deciding, up for accepting, down for rejecting.

I find a pully menu to be much more usable than a button while running, because it's just the relative input that matters, not the position on the screen.

this should be a comment really, it's not an answer to the question asked

Well the button would not be that good. But simple swipe up or down might be simpler for the basics features like answering ft/ making the call silent. Le or right would decline the call. Something like that i was thinking.

In place in newer software release. See how it works here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-kkTM_EwhA
